"As a growing brand, building awareness and exposure is naturally a goal of ours. The KMO team has not only helped us in achieving that goal and connecting us with publications, press and affiliates, but they truly believe in the brands they work with. Their deep interest in and innate understanding of our products, brand DNA and team make them even more effective communicators, which has not only brought us sales and awareness, but has helped us develop relationships with our affiliate partners."
“I always feel safe on these [client] calls.”
With the brand’s first product launch within the food storage space, our client wanted to secure its first top-tier feature article that drove high traffic and revenue directly back to the brand’s website - instead of Amazon.
KMO secured an exclusive feature launch article on Real Simple six hours before the initial launch in addition to three more feature articles on InTheKnow, Apartment Therapy, and The Kitchn. The four high-revenue articles resulted in the highest affiliate revenue month and attributing to 25% of the brand’s overall online revenue for the entire month.
As a new fashion brand with minimal PR exposure, the goal was to secure high-revenue driving affiliate articles that featured the brand’s best-selling and high-inventory products in addition to increasing brand awareness.
KMO secured three feature articles with Meredith Publishing in one month that highlighted the brand story, included quotes from the founder, and collectively generated over $40,000 in affiliate revenue.
With consumer unrest due to the election and pandemic, a sustainable athleisure brand wanted to get ahead of prime week and BFCM by promoting its earlier-than-usual site-wide sale of the year with the goal of securing 50 top-tier affiliate articles.
A total of 92 articles were published resulting in the brand’s most profitable affiliate month to-date.
Monthly Affiliate PR training and consulting for DTC brands, PR agencies and affiliate marketing agencies that desire to start, pitch and/or scale an affiliate PR program.
Affiliate Marketing was sprung onto the PR industry rather abrasively and no one had capacity to educate or inform the industry of the changes. With a 10+ year PR career and 2+ years managing Affiliate PR programs, Kaila desired to create a training community for PR professionals that provides accessible, ongoing support.
The Club will forever expand and evolve with more offers and resources. $111 is a beta price. Members who join at $111 will remain at $111 unless they choose to leave and rejoin The Club.
